We offer our services to all cars, 4x4s and light commercials. No job is too big or small: from a sidelight bulb to an engine change we are happy to help. We are also happy to show the customer any old removed parts and answer any questions that you may have about our work.
If you are unable to deliver your car to us we offer a free local collection and delivery service and have courtesy cars (subject to availability) at no cost. You are also welcome to wait in our waiting room whilst your vehicle is booked in if this is more convenient.

MOT
We are DVSA approved and offer Class 4 MOT testing on site. This is by appointment and customers are always welcome to wait. The current MOT fee as laid down by the government is £54.85. Although we do not discount this, when a vehicle is presented for an MOT and Service together, we reduce Labour costs by half an hour. We consider this to be fair as numerous things checked as part of an MOT are also checked for a service. This saves us time and therefore saves you money.
SERVICING
Here at Spurling & Remblance we carry out servicing to all makes of cars, 4×4’s and light commercials. Regardless of age or mileage we can service your vehicle and if it has a manufacturer’s warranty then this still isn’t a problem. We will use genuine parts and adhere to the manufacturer’s specification. If any additional work is required whilst your vehicle is in for a service then we will always contact you first and quote as required.
AIR CONDITIONING
We offer servicing and repairs to most air conditioning systems.
Car A/C systems naturally lose approximately 15% of gas every year. This can affect the performance and efficiency of the system as well as causing potential damage to seals and components. We inject UV dye with every service to ensure easy diagnosis if the system was to develop a leak.
DIAGNOSTICS
We are a well-equipped garage and our investment in vehicle diagnostics is no exception. We have various diagnostic tools including Bosch, Snap on and Launch that we use to communicate with the vast majority of vehicles. These are capable of providing us with fault codes, data and re-programming for Engine, Airbag (SRS), ABS, traction control, BCM. When a vehicle is brought in with one of the various fault indicators illuminated we connect a computer and carry out an initial code read and check data when necessary. Once this is complete we will advise you of any further costs and work would continue once authorised.
TYRES & ALIGNMENT
We are equipped to fit tyres for all vehicles and carry a small stock of the most popular tyres. If tyres are not in stock then we are generally able to obtain them within 24 hours. We always balance all wheels, replace the valves and clean and seal all alloy wheel rims. We also reset tyre pressure monitoring systems (TPMS) as required. We use our laser/digital wheel alignment gauges to check and adjust the tracking and camber/castor on your vehicle. Alignment is very important for the handling of your vehicle and to ensure even tyre wear.
